Intro to Mindfulness/Anxiety Reduction:

This is a one or two hour program, designed to help participants understand what Mindfulness is and how it can be useful to reduce anxiety and improve the quality of life and wellbeing.  Compassion fatigue and burnout is addressed if applicable to the group, as well as the effects of stress on the physical wellbeing of an individual. There will be opportunity for mindfulness practice experience within this program.  

Mindfulness for Healthcare Professionals:

Levels of stress and burnout in the healthcare profession have been on the rise with the significant changes in how health care is delivered and administered. Extensive research has shown that mindfulness training can have significant positive impact on participant’s job satisfaction, their relationship to their patients, co-workers and administration. This can be designed for a one time seminar, or a series.

 Mindful Approach to Reducing Stress in Caregiving: 

Caregivers are the unsung heroes in today’s healthcare environment. They endure increased stress, compassion fatigue and burnout, often resulting in not caring for themselves, leading to their own illnesses. Mindfulness training can give caregivers a way to reduce their stress, and give them tools in which they can increase resiliency and transform interactions with the person who they are caring for. This program can be tailored to fit individual group needs.  

 Mindful Caring for a Loved One with Dementia:

This program offers caregivers tools to utilize to reduce stress, anxiety, grief and sadness during their difficult journey of caregiving for someone with dementia. This program also offers hope and compassion, and ways to develop a mindful power of caring presence with those being cared for. This program can be tailored to fit individual group needs.  

Half Day Program:  Mindfulness/Anxiety Reduction:

This 4 hour program is designed to enhance the understanding of Mindfulness by delving into current research, neuroplasticity and giving participants first-hand experience with practice. This 4 hour class allows time for expanded guided meditation practices, group dialogue and discussion relating to stress reaction, communication and or self-care.   

 Full Day Program:

This full day (7 hour) program is designed to enhance the understanding of Mindfulness practice by having in depth opportunity to explore stress reaction, communication and to develop an individual self-care plan.  We will flow through numerous meditation practices, both formal and informal. 

 MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) Onsite Program:

This 8 week MBSR program is the in-depth comprehensive program in mindfulness. Throughout the 8 week course, participants will be guided in various meditations, mindful movement, and small and large group discussions. There will be weekly home practice assignments that include a daily meditation practice, along with encouraged journaling throughout the journey. This course is a way to tap into the internal resources that we each have available to us but possibly haven’t accessed yet. This can result in a different way of living, promoting health and stress hardiness and resiliency. The benefits of this course go far beyond this 8 week course.  

Enhancing Faith Communities through Mindfulness and Self-care Practices:
